Attaching the swivel and hose clamps

  1. Insert one ends of the hose with the Wataboard logo over the swivel hose barb and secure with clamps size 110-120.
  2. Make sure that each clamp fits into the groove of the hose barb. Easiest way to line up the hose with the grooves is to use a pen and mark each groove on the hose. When you insert the hose over the barb you will have the exact position of the grooves marked. Tighten the screws on each clamp very tight (11.8 nm or 8.7 ft pounds) and re-torque them before you go out flying every time. In time the metal in each of the clamps will stop to expanding and you won’t need to re-torque them.
  3. Repeat this process for the other end of the hose. This end will be either over a secondary swivel or a hose reducer.
